Director of Sales (DOS) Responsibilities and Qualifications:
We are seeking qualified DOS's to join our nationwide sales team, increasing The Encore Group's sales within their directorship. In this position, you will manage 18-30 salespeople and be responsible for:
- Personally selling to select key accounts within the directorship.
- Working with Regional Territory Managers to hire, train and develop The Encore Group's sales team.
- Working closely with the Vice President of Sales on planning and execution of The Encore Group's national sales strategy.
- Forecasting sales and controlling costs within the directorship.
- Extensive travel is required.
You must be energetic, highly motivated, organized, dedicated to excellence and work well independently. 7+ years of business-to-business sales management experience is required within the gift, sport or garden industry.
The Encore Group, Inc., Director of Sales are full-time company employees reporting directly to the VP of Sales. Directors earn a base salary, commissions, territory overrides, cell phone allowance and paid expenses.
